Dhanteras Special:Extended live trading session in Gold

On the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras on Monday, October 24, 2011, the Exchange has decided to conduct Extended Live Trading session in GoldExchange Traded Funds (ETF) securities in the Equity Segment. Details of Gold ETF securities that would be available for trading in the extended session are as follows –

Further, we are happy to inform you that on this auspicious occasion, the Exchange has decided to waive the transaction charges for all trades done in Gold ETF securities on Monday, October 24, 2011.

Please note that during the extended trading session, trading shall be allowed only in aforesaid GOLD ETF securities. No other security shall be available for trading and any order entered for any security other than aforesaid shall display a message “Scrip is Not Active”.

Market timings for the Normal and Extended Trading Sessions on Monday, October 24, 2011 shall be as follows:

*Members may please note that there shall be no Post Closing Session for GOLD ETF securities mentioned above.

Important Points to be noted regarding extended trading session on Monday, October 24, 2011:

Members should remain logged in to the trading system after the end of post closing session at 4:00 pm and no need to log in again for the extended trading session at 4:30pm.

All unmatched pending orders of Gold ETF securities at 3:30pm will be cancelled and not carried forward to the extended trading session.

All trades done on Monday, October 24, 2011during the normal as well as extended trading sessions shall be merged and settled on Friday, October 28, 2011 as per existing settlement schedule.

Bhavcopy for cash segment will be published twice –
i) After close of normal market as per existing schedule: without details of Gold ETF securities.
ii) After close of extended trading session: including details of Gold ETF securities.

Members shall receive 3 trade files –

i) Provisional trade file (PBRddmmyy.xxx) for trades upto 3:30pm.
ii) Final trade file (BRddmmyy.xxx) for trades upto 4:00pm.
iii) Consolidated trade file (BRddmmyy.xxx) for all trades upto 8:00pm.

6A / 7A facility will also be available during the extended trading hours i.e. till 8 p.m

All the settlement related files of cash, SLB and Futures & Options segment, i.e. all EOD files which are downloaded after 4:00pm shall be downloaded after 8:00pm.
